When divorcing parties have children together the health and well-being of those involved is the priority of mediation. The Parenting Plan includes the custody arrangement that best suits the children and the parties’ life circumstances. The Parenting Plan also includes the financial aspects of child support and alimony. DMS has extensive experience working with parents in establishing healthy co-parenting that is founded upon a custody agreement that provides the quality time with children based upon the multiple factors of jobs, school responsibilities, geography, schedules, and domestic situations. The goal is for divorcing parties to arrive at a Parenting Plan that is based upon the wants and desires of the parents, and the healthiest situation for the children.
Our Certified Divorce Mediator is also a state Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has worked with hundreds of couples in working through the difficult terrain of custody and visitation agreements in order to achieve a balanced agreement that is centered on achieving a quality co-parenting relationship that is the foundation of the created custody schedule.
