Money and finances are typically challenging emotional topics that are exacerbated by the typical high level of conflict and disagreement that accompanies a divorce situation. At DMS we use a combination of professional Divorce Mediators and Certified Divorce Financial Analysts to bring the parties together to discuss and decide the best financial options given the precedence of Pennsylvania divorce cases and the financial implications of dividing up assets and liabilities. The goal is to establish an agreement, created by the both of the divorcing parties, that divides the finances equitably, and insures that both parties are heard and understood, and therefore meets the criteria of fairness and financial sense.
Our on staff Certified Divorce Financial Analysts (CDFA’s) are career financial professionals who have met specific education and experience requirements to advise the parties in divorce situations on their financial agreement. Our CDFA’s work with clients within the issues of:
