Creating The Memorandum of Understanding

The end result of successful Mediation is a co-created document called the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
This agreement outlines in detail the agreed upon Financial settlement and the Parenting Plan of custody and support that is presented to the presiding official (judge or otherwise) to settle the case as an Uncontested Divorce.
An Uncontested Divorce simply means that both parties have come to agreement on the major issues of the divorce, and are requesting the presiding official to grant the divorce based on the agreed upon Memorandum of Understanding.
The Memorandum of Understanding is the culmination of the Mediation process and allows the divorcing parties the control and direct input on the essential elements of a divorce, with the minimum amount of monies spent, less emotional stress, and maximum efficiencies within the divorce process.
